Good friends help us close out the summer...

We are so blessed to have great friends.  Our friends from Minnesota, the Carson family, came for a visit last weekend and we got to spend a few days in Branson together.    Sara is one of my very dearest friends and I miss her so much!  It was wonderful to re-connect.

Nicholas and Josie also re-connected.  These two were great friends when we lived in Minnesota and while I thought they may not have that much in common now at their age, I was amazed at how their friendship was exactly the same.  Josie is such a wonderful, sweet girl and I love that her and Nicholas' friendship has continued even though we are miles apart.

Lizzy was a great helper with Nathan, which allowed the adults a lot of time to visit and catch up - Thanks so much Lizzy! :-)

We had such a great time in Branson, we went to Silver Dollar City, where we ate lunch in the rain...quite the experience!  We will be laughing about soggy lunch for a long time.

Katie's first roller coaster ride - she loved it and we rode it about 6 times!

We also went to see "Noah, The Musical", which was AMAZING!  I love that the gospel was presented to people who paid to get in to see the play!  What a great ministry and a fantastic production.  There were live animals throughout the production and the kids had a great time.

I thank the Lord for such wonderful friends and I hope we get to see them again very soon!
