8 days and counting...

It is hard to believe that we will be getting on the plane to Kenya one week from tomorrow! It feels really weird but our family is ready. We have enjoyed our time here in Virginia, the teachers, staff and volunteers have been wonderful. They have taken such good care of us by nurturing us in every way.

We have made many new friends that it will be hard to say goodbye to but we know this is the plan the Lord has for our life.

Please pray for our family as we close our time here in Virginia. Pray that we will remain focused on the task and completing well. Pray for our travels...we will be traveling for 29 hours (that is without delays!) and I am sure Tim and I will need much patience. Also, please pray for our parents as we leave, we know this will be difficult for them.
