There is Hope in Africa
Standing in front of Hope Baptist Church
We visited a local Kenyan church today. It was such a blessed time. The Pastor's name is Basco and he works in my office. Since we were guests today, the service was a mixture of Swahili and English. There was lots of worship in song. The only instrument was a bongo drum, however there was no shortage of music. The church is still in it's infancy, there were only about 15 adults there (not including us). Pastor Basco preached on 2 Tim 3. It doesn't matter what language is spoken, God's word is always useful for teaching, correcting, rebuking and training in righteousness so that man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Church
We are the church. A group of believers worshipping and praising our Lord and Savior. We come from different backgrounds and different tribes, yet we come together as one body. We look forward to visiting Hope Baptist again when we get back from 40/40 training.
Pray for Hope Baptist Church. Pray that God would use this small church to make a big impact on God's kingdom.
BWANA ASIFIWE (Praise the Lord)
AMEN
