Readjusting to Life in America
We have been back in America for about 6 weeks now and continuing to adjust to our "new" life. Things are good, just very different. We are thankful to be back and know that this is where we are supposed to be...the Lord has provided for all of our needs.
We have heard a few updates from the doctors in Houston but nothing definite...all of the testing so far has come back normal, even the genetic testing. Our next visit will be with the GI doc on June 28th when he will do an upper endoscopy. In the meantime, we are playing with Nathan's diet. This week, after consulting with the Allergist, we are removing dairy to see if it has any impact on his health. It seems like a huge undertaking but many people do it, so I am going to just have to learn a new way of shopping and cooking.
This week we will be temporarily moving into a rental property that a family from our church has graciously provided until we can find a house to purchase. The LORD continues to work out all of the details for our family. We have been extremely blessed by many who are donating furniture for our new home...it has been overwhelming to see the generosity and sacrifice of so many!! We are truly humbled.
We all want to thank our family and friends who have provided us with housing during our transition! We know all of you have made HUGE sacrifices to make room for us, and we hope you know how much we love and appreciate you.
Will you please continue to lift up our family as we re-learn life in America? The Lord taught us a lot in the past year and a half in Kenya about our needs and wants. We are praying through how we are called to live our life here in America where there are so many choices!
