It has been awhile!

Wow, time has passed and while we have continued to have many adventures, I have been remiss in posting!  Much has happened over the last several years.  Covid really impacted the farm and we decided to sell it.  Once it was sold, we purchased a rental house in Bentonville.  We ran it as a short term rental for a year and that was a really fun adventure.  We met so many lovely people from all over the world.  It was also a lot of work and took up many hours of every day, so we changed it to a long term rental.  We have had the loveliest tenant for the past 2 years and truly appreciate the benefits of owning a rental property.

Travel has always been an important part of our lives but the farm and rental house took up so much of our time we found that we could only go on short trips.  However, since 2021 we have been blessed by traveling to New York City, Hawaii, Colorado, Cabo San Lucas and Washington D.C. In addition, we took our daughter on my most favorite trip in years to Barcelona, Avignon and Paris.  The trip to Spain/France reminded me of my love for travel, especially Europe.

As we have launched our 2 oldest off to college, Tim and I have really been planning out what retirement looks like for us. We desire to travel and as we have researched, we realize it is less expensive for us to live in a different country.  We will continue to have Nathan with us and plan to see the world together.  As of today, our plan is to slow travel, staying in a place for 30 or so days, depending on visa allowances.

We do not have exact timing or a firm plan...the world is wide open and there are so many options! 😁 We do know that it will take a lot of planning.  We have a lot of "stuff" to get rid of, pets to rehome (hopefully to our children), houses to sell and so much more.  Nick our oldest will graduate in May of 2025 and we need to make sure he is settled wherever he is employed.

I hope you will follow along with us on our next journey.
