Nicholas' 7th Birthday

Wow! I seem to forget to document life's most important moments! The week of Nicholas' birthday was a blur. Tim and I returned from Mexico on Monday and I was terribly sick. I was in bed until Wednesday. Katie had a stomach bug Sunday night of that week and everyone in the family got the same 24 hour bug throughout the week. We had to cancel Nicholas' birthday party because we were afraid to spread the germs.

On his birthday, Saturday, we loaded up and went to the zoo in Tulsa. It was a beautiful day and we all had fun, except when we discovered that the Polar Bear had died. The kids were really upset as this is their favorite exhibit. We had dinner at Whataburger...another family favorite that we only get when we go to Tulsa.

Since we cancelled Nicholas' party, we are having special time with different friends...we went to Fast Lanes this week with some of our neighbor friends for a rousing game of lazer tag. Collin and Nicholas beat Tim, Katie and Carson by over 4,000 points! You can see they are ready to go!
